The composite was down slightly and market beradth continued to narrow for the 95th consecutive day, as msft sold off by 1/16. Many analysts were commenting that this represents a rare buying opportunity for Microsoft, claiming that buying on the dips has always been a profitable strategy. Msft was up another 50 points in afterhours trading.
