Someone's listening to our rants ;-) cbs.marketwatch.com On Silicon Investor, some shareholders, like RRanney, applauded the buyout but were confused by the stock's reaction: "We got TVGIA, settled all lawsuits favorably, of course, and got monopoly situation, all for less than TVGIA was trading at in recent past. On the surface, it seems like a good deal to me. Market reaction is probably just arbitrage related, and some 'buy the rumor sell the news' action." The "buy on the dip" endorsements continued with PaulW: "This merger makes absolute sense and I choose to vote with my pocketbook." And PiyushM: "Short term it's more an issue of perception rather than fundamentals ... I will slowly add to my position as I digest this mega news" DownSouth also chimed in: "We will look at GMST in retrospect as having crossed the chasm this week, I am holding long-term."
