YAH! Now THAT'S A FACT PAUL CAN SINK HIS TEETH INTO. You knew that, didn't you. You get another star. I've been to chicken farms too. Egads. I think you're right, that the ammonia displaces lung oxygen.

Is the pig squeal-of-joy as loud as the tail-uncurling one? The "That man is looking at my ears" one?

I saw Pink Floyd three times in 69-71.

They were still babies then.

I used to think "they" were "weiner" pigs.

Piglets ARE cute.

Hi Croc,

<<You know... I pride myself (somewhat) on being one tough hombre when it comes to putting up with barn odors. >>

I had a pole barn for my boat that was 24x48. I had it shortened by 8 feet and an addition of 36x40 added for the horses. The addition I insulated in the walls and had the ceiling sprayed with insulation. But I left the peak and the hip open. Air circulates and the ammonia doesn't build up in winter. Could be warmer but I think lowering the ammonia is more important. Wife's horses don't get the winter cough.

Chickens... Did you ever reach in and grab an egg that didn't have a shell? Felt like grabbing a snake.
