That might just be because it is painful to watch your investment erode. I'll bet you are long VLNC. ; )

As for the author of the information from Yahoo's style, well I merely reported the information.

Especially when they sold 40k shares to get 1k.

I don't see how anyone could crow about a half penny improvement in conversion price, especially when CC would only get about 1k more shares with the improved price.

I said earlier that the selling coalition was selling about 40k shares today. So they sold 40k to get 1k. And yesterday they sold a lot to get NO additional shares, just to keep the stock at bay until they could really hit it today. But look, even after pounding us again, they could only drive the closing bid down by ONLY 1/32 of a point.

Not surprising MGV had to jump on and start the spin as fast as he could.

They should have negotiated an agreement with Valence. I believe that Valence offered them better conversion terms than they are now getting at great expense to themselves. CC has been selling steadily for over a month now, and the stock price is essentially at the same level it was on August 23rd.
