But Don, Toonenstein's is back on Intel web site as of 10/4/99. I have to believe this is what got stock up today.
Notice that link at bottom of page "Intel 820 Chipset" referenced a missing folder called: developer.intel.com. Either there are messing with small stock investors again like they did on the Wed., a day before they pulled 820 where they talked glowingly about VC820 boards and RDRAM for next 4-5 years or they are planning to release Camino SOON.

Could Rambus the Novel, be far away???

The more I review and look back over many of the posts that were called FUD a few weeks and months ago the more interesting this soon to be??? "Michael Crichton" business suspense novel gets..

" The return of the control of memory market to its traditional owners means the outlook for RDRAM looks quite a bit different. Change in the DRAM market is likely to be much more gradual than Rambus' forecasts have indicated, in keeping with the historical pace of development for memory technology. Look for PC-133 to emerge as the next volume leader in the DRAM market. Then look for 266MHz Double Data Rate DRAM (DDR DRAM) to succeed PC-133. The next generation will be DDR SDRAM at 400MHz. By this time, it will be the year 2002 or later.

Just remember, we told you so. "
