BGR, if that is the case(i don't doubt you're correct about the charter...as far as i know it has to keep an eye on both inflation and economic growth), why is the liquidity spigot opened wide every time stocks go DOWN? whereas when they go up and create a really dangerous bubble, the Fed is doing nothing except feed it further...it's this asymmetric approach that i don't like. it's irresponsible imo.
