Akula, you would probably get a more accurate answer if you contact some private schools in your area.

As I said earlier, it's been quite a few years since my children went to private school. So any amount I could give you from 15 to 20 years ago would probably be very different than the cost now.

My kids have gone to public schools from high school through University and graduate school. My son has received a fellowship in medicine, and part of the deal is that he works at the hospital which is affiliated with the University. But since he is an adult, has been married and self-supporting(Including the support of his wife, who is an Actuary) for 7 years, I don't ask him what his expenses are.

But, I stand with my original statement on this subject. "A young person will do well in school if they are motivated, whether it's public or private school"

I've known people who spent a fortune on private schools, only to have their kids drop out of college.
