Mama Bear,

Kerry, if you never posted about the company, why would they sue you?

I have no worries about me being sued by CYOE. I can be one very nasty SOB when I set my mind to it, and I would file counter suits and force discovery and sue opposing attorneys faster than they could uncover the aliases of other posters. The best defense is one heckuva offense. I'd make sure that they were so busy defending my counter claims that they didn't have time for anything else, but that's another story for another time. <g>

My main concern here is that SI (or any service provider for that matter) doesn't usurp anyone's rights to challenge a subpoena. Not only can a subpoena be challenged (even anonymously via valid legal representation), one can take legal actions against the individual attorney (or law firm) that issued the subpoenas if one can prove that the lawsuit is frivolous or that the purpose of the subpoenas was to invade one's privacy (in other words, unmask the alias) as opposed to the continued follow through on a real lawsuit. That's really my only concern here.

Have a good day trading and the best to ya.

KJC
