Couldn't remember Phil. Considering I went to a Catholic grammar school and supported Nixon against Kennedy, you can see how I might jump off the Yankee bandwagon. Everybody in school was a Yankee fan. My father was a Red Sox fan, and the only reason I can think of was that he was a big Ted Williams fan. All I know about the Angels these days is that they didn't have the worst record in the AL; Gene Autry is dead; Jimmy Piersall isn't playing center field, and Jim Fregosi isn't the shortstop or manager. <g> BTW I always wore #11 in baseball and softball (Fregosi's number). By luck of alphabetical assignment, my daughter will have #11 all through her travel soccer "career".
