Dear Bill: Here is my read on AAPL. Its probably a good trading stock but not an investment stock. I suspect that the next quarter or two will be very good what with new product/season and all but then what? Seems to me if one gets in in the lower 60's they can get out in the high to low 70's then wait to do it all over again. That is not my game so I didnt buy. JDN

AAPL - re: "&#133staying in&#133"

I stayed:

• Launch of 3 new iMac models, one of which is priced at $995
• Aggressive marketing strategies (the $400 Compuserve rebate)
• The iBook launch
• The MOT shortage is strictly temporary - the G4 market still is going to buy them, whether it's this week or next -- anybody who's considering a G4 isn't suddenly thinking 'Dell' just because of the MOT thing.
