Don, I just have to believe at this point that anyone buying or selling RMBS is familiar with the situation. It doesn't make sense to me that outside influences like the SOX are affecting the RMBS chart significantly.

There could be other factors at play today, but this is the 2nd time the stock has resisted the "other shoe dropping"; Samsung a few days ago, Toshiba/NEC today. An ominous sign IMO for anyone with a large short position.

Disagree with you regarding large price moves. A significant delay could impose as much doubt regarding PC penetration as existed last year when RMBS went to 38 on rumors Intel wouldn't support it. A significant fix would take it back to 90 relatively shortly IMO, after all what would 4 weeks mean in the overall scheme of DRAM transitioning to RMBS. I think the analysts will follow this price move - not lead it.

I'll call Dell in the AM but I'm inclined with everything I'm hearing to believe that a fix will be in by the 25th but it won't be very elegant. My take is that boxmakers will drag their feet introducing volume shipments. Hence the contradictory indications from the DRAM guys, Dell and the market itself. The question is given a murky scenario like this vs a clear cut scenario (one way or the other) - what will the stock do? Rich
