Reseller and all, just got this offer from Iomega in my e-mail today. I like the idea of using their database to make direct offers to those who have visited their web site. Not sure about the recent news about the parallel port Zip capability of the new Kodak-Lexmark printer. Seems that they should have pushed to have a PC slot as well for use by the Clik! or a USB connector, but at least we got some free press in the announcement and they did not announce that they had a relationship with Imation and the the Super disk... I did listen to the vcall and Stan Corker's remarks (which were transcibed to the Motley Fool site today by Vin Ordinaire) and although Emerald had just removed IOM from their radar screens, his comments were not too negative. A few positive remarks and overall it was neutral with regard to the overall picture of the company. Looks like we will be in this narrow range of trading for at least another month or so. Comdex may help a bit, but just not sure what new products to expect coming from a downsized Iomega. I would love to see Clik! be taken more seriously by a few other companies. It still has good potential, but sure hasn't had the impact that Kim Edwards thought it would have. Will have to wait to see if the Afga Clik! camera has good consumer acceptance. It has a lot of good things going for it, although it doesn't have much sex appeal (high end features). How is the new PC card Clik! drive selling? Sounds like a very good product! Mel

(Only the text of the e-mail message copied, the graphics showing the drive and other ad stuff did not carry over).

Good news, Mel:

I scanned through the other posts and didn't notice anyone else posting this, but Sears has the USB Zip for $55. There may have been a typo at Sears headquarters, but I just picked up a couple this afternoon. I hear it has been scanning for this since this weekend, but the salespeople at Sears were kind of surprised.
