ted - <Obviously I am not the one to kick off the discussion but you are anticipating that the improvements to the cumine's architecture would result in a faster chip. That's what you are suggesting, right?> My design friends tell me that these features should help to improve various benchmarks scores, something more than if Intel had just "bolted" on a cache with the same buffering and same data transfer bus. I don't think these design features have much, if any, of an impact on raw Fmax (MHz). PB
