nice to meet you again! I am strongly considering a position in GMST. Price trading down this week. Where do you see the best entry point in the foreseeable future? hi alan, i am not good at picking entry points...frankly stocks often retreat after i purchase. my picks this year were armhy got in pre-split in march or april at 90...then it dropped to 80's. then it split 4x1. now at 53. cree got in pre-split (2x1) at 60. after the split got more at 24...now 2 months later it is in the 30's. rmbs...i started at 53. gmst...started at 65...got more yesterday at 71. i always average in to everything...i am not good at timing. i find a company i really like...my preference is monopolies or near monopolies...(cree fits that perfectly)(armhy is the fastest growing in their field, and does have a virtual monopoly on cell phone chip cores, including the new gps chip...intel's new strongarm processor uses an armhy core as do psion, eriksson, nokia, qcom, etc.)... gmst just became a monopoly imo...a worldwide new business franchise with a household name that everyone will use beginning now. i do not know what kind of a situation most folks need. i feel opportunity beating on my brain. i love rmbs...i see rmbs making $2 from every pc sold. i got to thinking...i have a desk top and a laptop. that is $4 for rmbs. then i thought, i have a tv in my bedroom, a tv with set top box in the living room, a tv in my office and a tv with satellite in my rv and 3 vcr's. that is about $60 for gmst and gmst gets paid for the ads i watch. then i thought worldwide pc sales will be about 125 million next year. there are up to 62 million devices shipped in the usa alone that could and will (imho) use gmst. (page 23 stephens report). who knows how much of this stuff is sold worldwide? of course some of these devices will have rmbs inside and some will use armhy core processors and eventually some will use cree's silicon carbide...i like my little circle of friends. i will continue to buy these as i can afford too. unclewest
