John, Quit being so optimistic. We need to talk more people into selling. ;^) (How's that for motives, Bill? LOL) Clearly, if one uses TA as the only tool for stock selection, then one is buying precisely that - a virtual piece of paper held in street name by one's broker. The alternative is to buy a piece of a company because one understands that company and chooses to share in its good fortune. The TA selectors are buffeted by every breeze along the way. The "owners" have their eyes firmly focussed on a specific goal and the occasional bump along the way is completely irrelevant. D., I'll take your weather report suggestion under advisement. Would you like me to repeat my forecast hourly, daily or just post a reference to any post by John S or some of mine? :-) And to all, I still expect MTSN to outperform each of the leaders (AMAT, NVLS, KLAC, LRCX) from current prices for each of these companies. I expect that outperformance to become obvious within the next year. And If I change my opinion, I'll certainly let the thread know. Ian.
