I was referring to the open interest (yes). Most of the put buying was done the past 3 days. Until the past 3 days, Calls were about 6-1 versus put interest. It evened out to about 2-1 by today. My other interest here was the premiums awarded these puts. Near today's close, I sold 20 OCTOBER 150 puts for $2/share! That is 25 out of the money with 7 full trading days to go. The market gave me $4,000 for 7 days. Until recently, the put costs/prices were low. I am still amazed, with all the 'after market movement', how the market gave me $4000 for 7 days & 25 points (plus afterhours). It tells me we won't be going up for long(?). We shall see! Steve D.
