Barrick Gold Corp - NP says Barrick insider sells before rally Barrick Gold Corp ABX Shares issued 393,441,366 1999-10-05 close $32.65 Wednesday Oct 6 1999 The National Post reports in its Wednesday, Oct. 6, edition that Charles Birchall, a director of Barrick Gold sold more than 40 per cent of his stake in the largest gold pay in Canada in early August, missing out on the recent rally in the price of bullion. The National Post's Thomas Hirschmann writes that Mr. Birchall sold 50,000 common shares at $20 (U.S.) to $20.625 each, leaving him with 65,000 shares. The transaction occurred on Aug. 10 and 11.
