today that InfoSpace.com (Nasdaq:INSP), a leading Internet information
infrastructure company, has selected MapQuest.com to be the exclusive
provider of mapping and driving directions for InfoSpace.com and its
affiliate network that consists of more than 1,800 Web sites.
Beginning in 4th Quarter of 1999, InfoSpace.com will add
MapQuest.com's online maps and driving directions to its Web site and
its content services for its affiliate network. InfoSpace.com's
affiliate network consists of over 1,800 Web sites reaching 86 percent
of all Internet users. MapQuest's services will be integrated with
content such as Yellow Pages and White Pages, classified
advertisements, weather forecasts, real time stock quotes and
