SUN almost never exceeds expectations by 1 0r 2 cents max. They are one of the few companies that do not play the Wall Street game by artificially keeping expectations down. In past qtrs there has been run-up prior to earnings, but the mgt has not been suckered into blowing estimates (which IMO is the right thing to do). Given the size of the backlog, they do have some flexibility in managing earnings so if they had a very good qtr, you will probably see 2 cents above expectations (I don't know what that is). Rev growth should be per gudance low 20% growth (which given the competetion's woes - HWP and IBM - wil be well received by the street, not necessarily by boosting the stock up by limiting any profit taking on the downside).
