The Company has issued an additional 1,129,711 to Casa Inglesa at an average deemed price of $0.49 per share in final payment to Casa Inglesa for its interests. Casa Inglesa has also assigned the operatorship of the Lagunillas Project to Can West. Can West operates and owns a 100 percent participating interest in two large exploration blocks situated in the Middle Magdalena Basin of Colombia, and owns a 50 percent participating interest in one exploration block in the Upper Magdalena Basin. With these blocks, the Corporation controls over 200,000 net acres of highly prospective land in one of the most prolific oil-producing basins in the world. Can West Exploration Inc. is a public company engaged in the exploration for oil and gas, primarily in Latin America.
