mark, You're right. I wasn't careful enough in my thinking. Normal links don't jump in front. You're probably right about SI links too but I'm having trouble checking that because my connection is good today. I think one time when it always jumps in front is when the link can't be established. Kinda interesting anyway. w

From what I've read, it's the Java scripting in the page. For the new SI, when the page finishes the load, it will jump back to this windows. Very annoying for me if I'm working on something else. As someone on the Welcome to SI thread mentioned, go to Customize, Options and ensure that the following question is set to "No" Would you like your autofocus to be the quote box? Note: If yes, cursor will automatically be in the quote box on every page. Seems to be site-specific. Rich
