Today's semi action is reminding me of the exuberance we had three months ago just before heading into the earning season. I will post the earning dates of a list of tech companies later, maybe tonight. The thick of the earning releases are going to be next week and the week after next as far as most of the semi's we track is concerned. I expect we will run up 20% on average between now and then and then a selloff, maybe giving back all the 20%. My strategy is still the same - buy put a day before or on the day of earning.

Like CNXT? I'm holding on to it until after it splits at least and expect a post-split run just like RFMD. Hang tight.

I switched out of GALT into TXCC. TXCC is still a laggard and it has held numerous supports (trendlines, previous pivot high and long stochastics). I expect it to outperform its peers once the mo-mo's and daytraders are back into it. If it closes up today, its chart will begin to attract more silly money. Watch it. Oh, TXCC and AMCC were at the same price just last week. Now see where AMCC is?

But we may get a pause tomorrow if the Sept unemployment data is not favorable and signal an imminent fed tightening. So we are not completely clear for gangbuster earning release party yet.

Q up 12.
$207
It's Still Cheap.
CDMA continues to dominate.
WCOM/Sprint merger expands CDMA footprint tremendously.

Sounds like all of you are having a good day as well.
Thought I'd stop by and do my little myopic stock report again.

See ya.
