HYIPsGalore! I just checked, and the symbol HYIP is not in use in any North American stock market. Not even in Alberta. Jeanette should not overlook this business opportunity. She can find a shell and then do a reverse merger. Then she can raise funds in the equity market by private placements. With these funds, she can make loans bearing interest at 2 1/2%. Provided that her stock goes up faster than 2 1/2%, she will be able to continue this scheme. If not, she could just neglect to pay the money back to the HYIP investors. This would improve her liquidity tremendously. She might even be able to remodel her house.
