I find it interesting that Sony is a TiVo manufacturer. They are also a Set Top Box maker, along with TV and Sound.

So, it stands to reason that Sony will integrate this TiVo functionality into the whole line and this will make many valuable additions such as an integrated remote control.

I also see that Scientific Atlanta is building hard drives into their STB. At what point do they become a competitor?
