BTW, I read your post on "market timing" and liked it a lot.

I think my situation with GMST was a good illustration. I stated that I probably wouldn't have sold had my "timing" (entry point) been much lower. I would have taken a more "wait and see" or hold position. However considering that my cost basis was actually around 77, (I thought it was even lower, but checked my transactions and found another purchase at 79) I worried that my entrance was ill-timed.

That timing issue was further complicated fundamentally by some questions about the TVGuide merger (which still aren't clear, at least to me).

So now I'm back to where I started. Making a purchase based on the fundamentals. Another piece of the puzzle was put in place by the GIC announcement this morning. So the picture is improving, but not completely in focus.
