Kelly. Thanks. Problem with their definiton is that it is circular in that you need to know how to compute yesterday's exponential moving average to compute today's exponential moving average. JohnG

KellyK. My opinion is that wireless internet (even in a cut down version) is the Killer Application that will make wireless phones an indespensible fixture for everyone in every industrial nation. Combine this with voice recognition and you can see that all phones sold to date will be trashed and replaced within the next couple of years. Remember "information and the ability to use it on a timely basis will be the scarce resource in the 1990's and beyond." Simple, elegant powerful and so so true. If Finland is the way it is because of the primative GSM phones they have, it boggles the imagination to contemplate the degree of change likely to befall us all within the next 5 years. JohnG
