I have to agree with you that the G* news is not likely the cause of the jump in Q's price. I saw the press release earlier in the day and thought it was nice that they had passed that milestone, but it was nothing to get excited about. Was there any doubt that the phones would get this approval? I don't think so.

On the other hand, I just realized that my Q$ gain from the bounce in Q stock today just about equaled my original G* investment. So, maybe in a strange, backwards, upside down way of looking at it, that still-underwater G* investment is not really so underwater after all.

On the third hand, my sister would remind me what a penchant I have for rationalization.
