Jim(ps I think there is a buyer everytime that bridge goes up for sale)
I think you are wrong re contradictory indicator..how about convoluted
indicator..wonder why the grand inquisitor of the gold monitor thread hasn't started the interogation re the contradictions.. on the one hand saying gold under 200 and in the next week telling us of her contacts who told her to expect a gold announcement.. unless her contacts gave her the wrong information and that is why she came up
with 195
didn't you read her post Message 11397926
'From my contacts within AG's own bosom buddies with whom I visited back in April this year,, I expected a gold announcement about 3 weeks earlier'." a week after she posts this "on September 21st, less than one week before gold took off to the upside.
I quote:
Message 11313701
"O/49r is back in the SI Posting Game! Let the good times roll! And let the price fall to
$195 like I've been forecasting. I'm now ready to catch the falling knife, trrrrrrust me!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAW!
Ballsy ain't I???-with gold up about $4 this am due to the trade
report(VVBG)"

FWIW I heard rumor that some more announcements re gold should come
out of the European CBers-
that possibly the announced and subsequently aborted IBF(oops IMF)
sales were to help bailout out a Central Bank and when that failed
BOE did a favor..
I was also told to reread the Swiss announcements and question if they were going to be allowed to sell the gold proposed..
Also heard rumor that possible the German fellow who bought so very much of Homestake might have been the source of the huge block of shares that were sold today..as he had been accumulating down into the seven dollar area..
wonder if that is why Homestake hasn't participated much with that
huge block waiting to find enough buyers..
The above were only rumors.. but quite fun and who knows..

Jim,

Ole 49r is one of the most knowledgeable goldbugs that I know of. Her knowledge can only be matched by a few. I am sure she had her reasons for the $195 value, but I also know that she is a long term bull in gold. The POG could have fallen that low, possibly in a panic selling scenario.

I just read and learn from the excellent posters on this thread including yourself and Ole 49r.
