Chevy - the reason that Langille was shutout was possibly that he did not want to declare who his backers were. Or, was too late in the "bidding" process.

Ususlly the flogger of Sysco would compile its own list of companies capable of running Sysco and would then approach them to make an offer. ANd if anyone shows up on their door step looking for a peek at the books, they would have to undergo the same pre-qualification.

But, I think that Langille is right when he thinks that the plant has been sold. IMHO they're waiting on a opportune time to make the announcement. After all, the Hamm government is making a 180 here and I'm sure are making sure that everything is in order.

The question is, what are the adds that it is NAR/Titanium and an industry giant? Could it be someone like an Inco who got shut out Voisey's Bay after "Brian's (Captain Codfish's) last stand".

Seeing that Langille is from BC, there could be some type of Japanese connection as is prevalent with much of the Coal/Steel JV's out there.
