*OT* Hi Lee....I am worried about the Bravos too......if they can get by Houston, big IF......I think they will win against (whoever) the opponent is in the CS...and WS....this series is kindof like their season....they are in the hole, will they rise to the challenge? If they come back here....I think they will get their playoff legs, and will be much less nervous (the rest of the way)...

It is really a shame Galaraga, Lopez not around..with them, they would be unstoppable...

They rely so much on Chipper now...with Jordan hurt (still good, but no power)..it is time for A. Jones/Klesko to really step-up here...Chipper/Jordan carrying the Braves way too much (during season)...teams will keep pitching around Chipper...

It ain't over though...although Houston is loaded..the big difference (this year) being Caminini....They have to win with Millwood, to have a shot...He has really stepped-it-up this year, all year...let's see if he can do it (one more time)...

Look for Texas to play much better in the 2nd game...ditto Arizona...

Thanks for showing us some good news from Taiwan...I wonder why CNBS never shows such reports....Hmmm...kindof like how CNBS ran a ton of "PCs sales going to hell" stories last spring (leading the headlines).....and quietly (thanks to CNBS)...PC sales growth % (units) now best in several years..

Lee- Thanks for the reports....

Do (all, most, some) of the chip-makers run 24/7, or on a more limited work schedule (I would think the latter)...

If I am right, just SWAG, I would think that between inventory, overtime, and alternative suppliers...disruption to Dell's supply chain would be minimal (if at all)...Throw in the fact, that Dell is the biggest customer for many (or at least in the top 2/3)...Dell can throw its considerable weight around...Also, if competitors are affected (by the Taiwan problem, chip price increases) to a larger extent than Dell, could it possibly be perceived as a short-term advantage for Dell??

Also, I would find it hard to believe that Dell has not strategically planned for such things (quake, or similar disruptions), and even if the quake's damage was greater than (emergency) expected, I would think that (emergency) planning has minimized the problem...

Therefore, my theory remains, that most of the bad news is priced into the stock here (down from 49 just a few short weeks ago)...

I guess by tomorrow aft. we will know if I'm right or wrong.....BTW-More bulls coming out of the woodwork on CNBC....some technical "warm and fuzzies" popping up in last couple days...
