Assuming those numbers are true, we still don't know anything about the platform, memory, system, or the compiler. I would wait for some more data on that front. Now, if those numbers are valid, they still pale in comparison to what AMD showed yesterday. <I just asked Haim his opinion on the possibility of similar SW working magic for Athlon, now I would like to ask whether the kinds of cache optimizations that Intel made for CUmine are feasible within the next 6 months for Athlon.
