Terry,

Yes I still read the posts. Have to admit that I have not looked into the other company. I suspect that there might be another share consolidation, depending on the size of the other company, which sounds of similar size, if not bigger than CDW. Again I have not put time into looking at this latest deal. CDW still has not announced its share issue.....

Thus, for me, there are still a number of factors that need to come to the surface before I would consider looking at it seriously again. I don't see this one run away just yet, unless there is a larger piece of the puzzle to be announced.

I think Prob moved on to T:HCI and from there to T:NSR. Quite the gambler I think! LOL.

They had an interview with an analyst on ROB-Television talking about this merger with an American company trading on the Nasdaq. Reasons for the merger was thought to be the perceived need to get bigger as the industry is consolidating and size is important to get costs down, and gain market share.

The analyst figured that the main listing will be on the Nasdaq after the merger, and the head office will likely switch to the states, with a branch office in Canada, although presently the official news says there will be two joint head offices. A lot more about this industry and merger was discussed, but I didn't catch it all. It is worth listening to, so tune in ROB-TV and it might be repeated.
