It didn't come from North's Y2K site, but I can see why you think it could.

I am not concerned with the Y2K issue that is mostly overblown, panic media hype (as was their ridiculous coverage on the Florida disaster that never happened as it later hit North Carolina).

What I am concerned with is the government making contingency plans to suspend all American's rights using a "disaster scenario" as an excuse.

To me, if this is true, the federal government has gone too far and is now willing to ignore the reasons why it even exists in the first place: to protect our rights, not subvert or suspend them!
