Hi Dorothy..

I remember YHOO retreating after earnings but I think there were some issues raised at that time that may have contributed to the pullback?

Yahoo has typically run up before earnings and then sold on the numbers. This time it hasn't made that characteristic run up.

Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) 175 3/4 +2 7/16: Internet portal posts a Q3 pro forma net of $0.14 per share, well ahead of the First Call mean of $0.09 per share; says that page traffic rises to 385 mln page views per day.....

I believe this beats the whisper too. So tomorrow might be interesting!
