Hi Susan,

I'm very impressed at the tone of this board. I dropped in on the "z" boards, and they look great too. Don't quite understand how to participate yet. I'll go over and ask. I spend a fair amount of time on Dale Baker's "50% gains" thread. Good people over there too.

I dipped in for 1k shares of PPRO yesterday at 36 1/8 (tried to get 2k shares but I was lucky to fill the 1k) and am riding it for a little while at least through end of quiet period--must admit I had my finger on the sell trigger at around 40 this am. I don't see the analyst ratings as a sure thing. Had my head handed to me on ISLD--which is finally working its way back. I have done very well this year mostly ST trading playing off bounces, but as someone noted on your z thread, that's not a sure thing either. NITE had been a good trading vehicle til recently, but it seems to getting wedged into a tighter and tighter band bottomed--so far--around 27/28.

Eg. my play on PRSW yesterday (2k shares) isn't even seeing a dead cat bounce yet. NSIL is another IPO coming out of quiet period. I'm holding 4k shares at ave. 13 1/2. Looks like a reasonably legit co. compared to many IPO's but it sure isn't attracting much attention yet and has been gradually sliding. It's vol. seems reasonable though. Strange.

I noticed some comments re. BXM. I've been having some fun over on the YAHOO board countering some idiot bashers. BXM has made a 30%+ run in the past week. I expect the big short position is covering, and there is buying heading into earnings, but I also expect some profits to be taken out at earnings. Ironically, I've been out of BXM throughout its little run.

Sorry to be off-topic except for the PPRO comments. If you prefer, I can head over to one of the z boards for non-ppro stuff.

Jim
