I like this paragraph in particular:
<<The RCA LYRA supports both Type I and Type II CompactFlash memory cards, which means consumers can purchase additional or higher density memory cards that offer more playback time. By the end of the year, a 300MB card is expected to be available that will give LYRA listeners over ten hours of music on one CompactFlash card. CompactFlash card media are also widely used in other consumer products like digital still cameras and allow for Skip-Free(TM) performance with the RCA LYRA. >>

They need to keep pushing capacity out to keep up with microdrives, and keep people from having a reason to use them. I didn't expect 300mb until next year sometime.

Arturo,

I just got goosebumps reading the RCA release.

I also started thinking about some of the leading items in SanDisk target megamarkets...

***Nikon Coolpix 950 and the upcoming Olympus C-2500...

***Kodak's outstanding line of digital cameras...

***Cassiopeia E-100 and E-105...

and now ***RCA's Lyra!!!

The fact is that these items greatly enhance standard PC utility and will be extremely desirable as gifts.

Let's face it, even the immense popularity of Iomega's storage products don't hold a candle to the sheer entertainment value, enjoyment and utility/productivity/creativity possibilities of these items.

And they all have CompactFlash slots.

Oh wait, I just got goosebumps again.
