Robert Green, VP of Technology and Internet Analysts at Briefing.com view on GNET.... Quote:

"I think Go2net is the great sleeper AMONG ALL THE PORTALS."

"I always felt it has a much bigger chance than people give it credit for".

Unquote.

Thanks Robert!! I guess I'll have to start reading Briefing.com again... :0)

Ron

That is great in theory, but the stock that has been freed up, was freed up I believe in July. It is now almost 3 months later and you would have to assume that the stock that has been freed up,is already in the market. So there are a couple of different scenarios: There is a very large short seller who is taking an incredible bet against this company and or knows something none of us don't. The selling is coming from institutions or insiders who don't have to file. In any case none of it is good for GNET longs in this incredible internet rally that we have had. The train has left the station and GNET is not on board, and probably won't be.

Short interest in GNET as of Sep 8 is 1.73M, according to Yahoo.

That's almost twice the 3 month average daily volume, but I don't think it's conspicuously high.
