Fwiw, 64K dram spot prices have almost tripled in the last 45 days.

taxman: In the spot cash market they are definitely going up and they have also gone up in the long term contract area but not any where near the same amount. This should not be too big a problem for the likes of DELL as they are very good customers of the component guys and they have long memories and they will remember long after this hiatus. Additionally I own MU and it has not soared even with a positive earnings surprise and the "soaring" DRAM spot price. I do think that the component costs will trim margins unless the cpu makers raise prices which they might have to. I wonder if AG can regulate earthquakes? JFD
