If they stopped investing in the Personal Connectivity business, how come they have pretty competitive broadband modems on the market? They announced recently a whole series (about a dozen) Office Connect products such as spiffy LAN modems (I just bought one and love it) etc. I don't buy your argument that they stopped investing in Personal Connectivity. Of course, they did stop investing in analog modems, but you must admit there is no future in those...

Gary--- The only way to win,, even against a superior product is price. I just received a new Micron system. It was an EXTRA $30 for a hardware (3COM) modem vs a WINMODEM. How many people do you think would (A) pay the extra $30 and (B) know the difference or (C) believe anything WIN is the best??? Now--- soon INTC will eat conms lunch in that area in name recognition alone,, make it cheaper and coms is an also ran (or did they run) again. The ONLY WAY for COMS to see 40 in any kind of decent time frame is in a buyout. LET IT BE SOON! PS; I'll take that 35 now in that manner with a huge smile! That cash could buy more INTC or CSCO LOL! Actually how about some T and LU instead...
