<<Her broker is trying to get her to sell 1/2 ("don't be greedy" he says).>>

Get rid of the broker, for starters.

Everyone I moved into Q has a 10-bagger and I am still suggesting further purchases. This story is just getting started. The technical information available on this thread goes a long way toward maintaining that level of confidence.

Does your sister use the Internet. Direct her to this thread - she can read as a visitor. Can direct her to the relevant posts that should convince her to ignore her broker.

I have owned Q for three years. I put two friends into Q months ago and when I did told them to ignore all urges to sell, take profits, etc. Told them to forget they owned the stock (as if they could) and that I would let them know when to sell. This is my advice to your sister as well.

never listen to a stock broker. If they new anything they would be running a hedge fund. Honestly stock brokers simply want you to buy and sell stocks, they dont care what happens to your money. When your broke they go on to the next sucker! Is laser sight LASE? I think i know somebody else heavy into that stock, it might be an OK stock but much riskier then Qcom.

Hi, Ross. That's a really annoying scenario you've painted. If I were to allow myself to be cynical, I'd have to say they your sister's broker is trying to churn her account. As well, he may be compelled by condition of employment to promote whatever the firm tells him to promote. It is extremely rare for his interests and those of his client's to overlap.

Her broker is trying to get her to sell 1/2 ("don't be greedy" he says).

So typical. The broker makes money by moving you from stock to stock, of course. They have always pulled people out of winners. Laser Vision is not a bad company. I would not buy it.

Tell her to divorce her broker and marry Q!

Bad idea to sell this stock. I covered my short position at close. Go long tomorrow at the open.
