Uncle Everyone here has someone to thank for the Q story. I was schooled by Jon Koplik and Gregg Powers. I now pass along the gospel to others.

"I bought at 140 3/4 on Monday, and currently have 85% of my portfolio in Q. I just wanted to thank you for your generosity in taking the time to explain Q to a newbie."

"...btw, are you always so absolutely correct?..."

Thanks Frank, you made my day! LOL!! 1999 has also been a very good year for me in the stock market. Two other stocks that I mentioned on the G & K thread (with virtually no response) at the beginning of the year, CYMI and MRVC, have also been triples this year, and COHU, my largest holding next to QCOM, has more than doubled.

Unfortunately, my choice in women seems to need some impovement. The stock market is sure a lot easier to figure out than females! My soon to be ex is determined to get her hands on as much of my money as possible, despite the pre-nup that includes my brokerage account. She repeatedly spent so much on the credit cards that we never had any "joint/community" money to invest.

I may have to sell some of my beloved QCOM to pay her and the lawyers off, but I know that I will make it back! As they say, "easy come, easy go"! Life is good!!!

All the best,

Steve
