. ARM processor cores have become a staple for all asic manufacturers; they have some powerful ip. I look at them every once in a while, but get put off by their earnings. Can you help me understand why have posted such puny profits and when it will improve? The last free advice I got made me a bundle <g>. Message 8691378 i will post more on armhy from time to time. if you looked at my links, you saw an incredible number of new licensees and products. armhy like rmbs is a design firm. they collect license fees and royalties on every device made using the arm cores. the signing of licensees and product production is accelerating. earnings will follow. many armhy licenses were signed 2 years ago. license to production is generally 18 months...i expect the earnings ramp to really accelerate for the next few years. we have been getting several announcements every week for months about new licensees and new products. i believe the last intel idf,(sept in palm springs) where the strongarm core was featured, and this weeks show in san jose have awakened the masses. finally. i do not feel like i am offering advice when i post here...i am merely trying to share info on picks that are working very well for me. i appreciate everyone else doing the same. i must admit that occasionally i am accused of irrational exuberance. i do try to hide that trait. uw
