I just noticed that Lihir ws down $4 1/8 today...WOW!!!

This is quite interesting...from the Lihir NR (I think it shows that there will be a strong bid under gold for quite a while)...

"The funds raised from the placement will be used to reduce the amount
and cost of Lihir's debt finance, and will provide enhanced operational
flexibility. It is expected that the hedgebook will be comprehensively
restructured following the refinancing."

It is the potential that has me all excited about this company. There is no real fixed ceiling on where they could take what they have developed, and for as much as I can see, it appears that they also don't have any real competition.

By the way, they have applied for patent protection on their process.
