"Philips pulls the plug on Nino handheld"
By Stephanie Miles

Philips Electronics is discontinuing its
Nino line of Windows CE-based
handheld computers, another setback in
Microsoft's battle to usurp the Palm
Computing throne.

After selling its remaining Nino 500 and 200
handheld PCs, Philips will exit the market for the Microsoft-based
handhelds, the company said, refocusing its resources on developing voice
and data products, such as "smart" cell phones.

Nino never gained much of a following, even among devices running
Windows CE, Microsoft's scaled-down operating system. But Philips's
decision to pull the plug on the product indicates the larger turmoil among
Microsoft's Windows CE hardware partners, who have largely been
stymied in their attempts to break Palm Computing's grip the handheld
market.

Hey JD,

I've got a unique idea....if you want all the information go get it yourself. I'm not going to scour the web to make sure I've touched every nook and cranny...for you. Go do your own dd.

That being said what information did I miss in that post? It was complete given the data I had in front of me...and I am really getting tired of you implying otherwise. Hey, I got an idea how about you post something of substance. If you can't then you can go away. Buh Bye...

OG

JD, another case pertaining to Gary's misinformation;

<<Looks like we finally finished at 30!!! Barely...after spending most of the day above 30 it took a late rally from 29 and change to get us there. If you look at after market there are all kinds of sellers are lined up at 30 and 30+ a fraction. Buyers...theres few and many many orders at 25 and 26... and 1 buyer for every 10 sellers. >>

We did not spend most of the day above 30 and we most definately did not hang around 29 and change for more than 10 seconds, if that was even considered a real trade (took place at around 10:15 am). At first glance he appears to be correct if your only source is a matrix that shows the daily high and low, but if you look at the intraday charts you will see a totally different picture. He love to spin the facts and make them partial to his objectives.
