he said that AOL was his preferred way to go Heard the same thing from a client of mine a month ago, saw no reason to change. Last time I saw him he was looking into ATHM or DSL service. I said, "I thought you were happy with AOL?" He says, "I was until some spammer stole my AOL email address and spammed thousands of messages through my account and I had to deal with hundreds of angry replies from the people he spammed!"

So, all I can say is, things have a way of changing rapidly. People get comfortable and they do things the same way for a while, then they come up against a limitation and all of a sudden change looks better than the current "comfortable" situation. Maybe its as simple as, the kids start fighting over the computer and the internet and you realize you have to get each one their own computer and put the house on a network and get an internet service that will handle that network.
