He was old. Should we be electing old goofy men? Some say yes, I say no. I wouldn't want an old goofy man driving, and I certainly don't want him to have control of the football. But hey- that's just MY opinion. As has been pointed out numerous times lots of people wanted him. Just like lots of people wanted Clinton- SO if the MAJORITY of people who VOTE is always right then Clinton must be A OK. Right? Cause it's a popularity contest.
