"Source: 1999 The Wireless Investor bull-market.com" -- snippets (3):

1. Sprint PCS customers use two-and-a-half times more minutes each month than do users of traditional analog phones. Why is this? Sprint PCS is based on Qualcomm's CDMA technology, which simply works better.

2. Nishiguchi (Japan's Kyocera President) also stated that "The negative impact from the higher yen will be offset by continued high demand for cellular phones and related parts worldwide", and particularly noted that "Sales of its cdmaOne format phones based on QCOM's technology were particularly strong, since the phones provide a clearer, sharper signal than conventional cell phones".

3. The build-a-better-mousetrap theory continues to work with CDMA, as its worldwide acceptance rate continues to blow the doors off its competitors. Wherever CDMA is allowed to compete, it wins.
