Well I'd say that his keepers did a poor job- but it's hard to keep a muzzle on a guy when he is out in public. Ah those were the days - "What the President meant to say was...." I liked Shultz. I had some respect for Weinberger. I've said I liked Bush. As far as liking politicians goes. I didn't love them. I didn't approve of all their beliefs or all their actions- but they weren't goofy, heck they weren't even idiots. I liked Kissenger too. And Nixon. I liked Nixon more than Reagan. I prefer a paranoid who is all there, to a goofball. But it IS a tough call.
