Andre--- You are a dreamer. I see a nice balance shhet for a change and I see the sorry prospects too. Yes it is close to 32 but very far away too. It is having a rough time with 30 and has as good a chance of languishing at 26 as getting to 32. COMS real value is in the parts as leadership is not here in any product except PALM that is supposed to be broken off,,, then there are the dream valuations of PALM -- excluding the competition in its own OS and the assumption that MSFT will not at sometime get a little better,,, a poor window OS will take over in a heartbeat on name rec only,,
If you are betting on COMS over years you should consider the history,,, COMS has never been able to sustain a decent value as the other leadership area it lacks in is mgmt. The internet is just beginning--- how true,,, that alone will spawn more competition,, just the very thing COMS has never been able to win,,, this is one company with alot of news that has caused the momentum,, the only way to see a future with COMS stock is to hold onto the shares recd from whatever company buys it,,, and 35 - 40 in your hand tomorrow would pay off much faster and much higher than an independent COMS held for generations... They are generating tons of cash,, never knew what to do with it before (except pay mgmt well and give lots of cheap options) and there is little reason to believe it will change. JMO but COMS is really a poor company on a ride,,, the ride will end as it always has in the past,,, when it does those that get off first will be the fortunate ones but those like you are needed to hold while others can get out at a decent price,,, my bet is those that leave a little on the table for the eventual buyout will be best served ,,, Love the ride--- hope it goes to 50 before the fall so the trades are more profitably,,, But it sure is fun,,,,,
