i wouldn't mind messages like that for a change. When I had a job, I put some 'creativity' into the error messages my system produced. I landed in some very hot water over it. I suppose my user community didn't share your sense of humour. Their loss! Cheers, PW. P.S. I put my boss's home phone number into the weekend help-line database before I retired. I didn't want him to spend any more lonesome Saturday nights. P.P.S. I was selected for the job because the company wanted a technical person who possessed 'people' skills as well. (I fooled em!) Turned out, they wanted an executive arse-kisser to shield the department from angry users. I viewed the opportunity to needle the pissed-off as an both a fringe benefit and antidote for boredom as well as an opportunity to augment my 'idiot' story collection. (In the years I spent there, NOT ONCE was the problem anything other than the user's own stupidity.) P.P.P.S. Thanks to the internet, I can annoy from the comfort of home.
